JOTEX RELEASES OUTDOOR

FURNITURE COLLECTION DESIGNED BY ANDREAS MARTIN-LÖF

INTERIORS

Swedish interior design company Jotex has launched an exclusive series of outdoor furniture in collaboration with architect Andreas Martin-Löf. 'ASPVIK' consisting of a chair, sofa, sun lounger, a deck chair and a table, is inspired by his grandparents' summer house with the same name, where he spent his childhood summers. It is locally manufactured in Sweden by outdoor furniture producers Hillerstorp using Swedish, FSC-certified pine.

Andreas Martin-Löf has been active as an architect since 2004 and founded the firm Andreas Martin-Löf Arkitekter in 2008.

JOTEX

Jotex has been a part of Swedish homes since 1963. Today, the brand is present in eight European countries. Jotex is part of Ellos Group, the Nordic region's leading e-commerce company with headquarters in Borås. Ellos Group has an annual turnover of around SEK 2.6 billion, has around 550 employees and includes the Ellos, Stay Hard and Homeroom brands.

An old sofa group in rattan that came with the summer house when it was bought in the 1950's, became the base for the design.

"I often find my inspiration in simple objects around me and see my furniture design as a small contribution to a long craft tradition of furniture production. It is not uncommon for me to build on, and refer to, the creations of others," Martin-Löf says.

ASPVIK is homage to Jotex Swedish heritage. "We wanted to pay tribute to Swedish design and our long tradition of producing furniture," says Jotex' CEO Peter Keerberg. "Andreas Martin-Löf proved to be the perfect partner for this exciting assignment."
